Community Service – Team Leaders Wanted

The Chase Foundation was established in 2006 by Mack and Marilyn Chase to help serve the community of Artesia with an emphasis on helping students attend college and earning a degree.

Annually the Chase Foundation awards scholarships to approximately 60-70 students from AHS to attend the college of their choice. The Foundation is defined by the values of the Chase Family that includes education and a commitment to improve the quality of life for all families in our community.

Each year new Chase Scholars are required to participate in a community service initiative by giving back to those in need. The community service initiative will include approximately 6 teams from the new class of Chase Scholars and they will be paired with a team leader chosen from our previous Chase Scholars, either currently in the program or Chase Scholar Graduates.

If you are interested in becoming a Team Leader for the upcoming Chase Foundation Community Initiative, please complete the application below.

Community Service – Team Leader Application

As a Team Leader, I will:

  • Be prepared to share my own college experiences with my team members and answer any questions they have about being a first semester student.
  • Be prepared to help inventory items used during Community Service days and lend a hand as new items may need to be purchased or assembled.
  • Be prepared to be responsible, positive and encouraging, and to model good communication.
  • Showcase & hone my leadership skills by leading a team of new Chase Scholars through the Orientation days, as well as the Community Service work days.

I would like to be considered for a Chase Foundation Team Leader for the 2025 community service initiative.
